About This Property
Lion Camp is a treehouse-style lodge in the northern part of South Luangwa National Park, on the valley floor. Raised up high, it looks over oxbow lagoons and grassland full of wildlife.
You can watch game straight from your suite, with hippos grunting in the river during the floods. We head out with expert rangers on drives, bush walks, stargazing and photography safaris, and there’s a hide and a big viewing deck for armchair safaris.
Why We Love It
We love the photography studio for editing the day’s shots, and the free transfer from Mfuwe Airport. African-fusion food from world-class chefs, a pool with sunbeds and a small gym round it off.
