About This Property
Kicheche Laikipia is a relaxed, six-tent camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya’s Laikipia region, with snow-topped Mount Kenya on the horizon. It’s gold-rated for eco-tourism and made for people who love the outdoors.
We look for northern specials like Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest and Beisa oryx, and learn about the conservancy’s lion tracking and northern white rhino breeding work. Night drives turn up leopard, zorilla, honey badger and aardvark, and there’s walking, cycling and canoeing too.
Why We Love It
We love the no-frills honesty: home-cooked favourites, sundowners and canapés at a lookout, a fire in the evening and a very small number of guests.
