About This Property
Time + Tide Kakuli is a small, relaxed bush camp where the Luwi meets the Luangwa in South Luangwa National Park. A lawn runs from the deck down to the rivers, and there’s usually something grazing on it.
The Luangwa Valley has some of the densest game in Africa, with more than 60 mammal species in this part of the park. We mix walks with day and night drives, when predators are most active, and the camp hide is great for the area’s 400-plus bird species.
Why We Love It
We love Kakuli’s honest Zambian bush character. There are only a handful of tents, a fire pit for evening stories, a hot shower under the stars and, in February and March when the rivers rise, boat trips too.
