About This Property

Angama Safari Camp is the brand’s mobile, light-footprint camp – just four en-suite tents for up to eight guests, pitched on private sites deep in the Mara Triangle. During the Great Migration months it moves with the herds, putting you first at the river crossings and last to leave.

It channels the romance of the golden age of safari with a lightness of touch: canvas walls you can open to the plains, enamel jugs and basins, twin-bucket showers, and furniture that has a pack-up-and-go spirit.

Booked on an exclusive-use basis, it comes with its own private team and vehicles, and the same warm Kenyan service as Angama Mara – just with nothing but canvas between you and the wild.

Why We Love It

This is safari at its most immersive. With only four tents and the camp largely to yourselves, you fall asleep to hippo and lion and wake exactly where the wildlife is.

We love that it keeps Angama’s comfort and style while treading lightly – and that during Migration season you are positioned right at the heart of the action in the Mara Triangle.
