About This Property
Chameleon Hill Lodge looks over Lake Mutanda, an untouched Rift Valley lake, with the Virunga volcanoes rising behind it. It sits between Uganda’s top gorilla-trekking areas.
We track mountain gorillas in Bwindi or Mgahinga and golden monkeys too, then hike, cycle, canoe the lake or meet the Batwa community to learn their crafts.
Why We Love It
We love the bold colours and quirky art, the friendly family feel, the post-trek massages and having our muddy boots cleaned. The organic kitchen has a growing name.
