About This Property
Mboko Camp sits in a grassy riverside clearing deep in the Congo Basin, the world’s second-largest rainforest, in Odzala-Kokoua National Park. It’s small and personal.
Habitats change fast here: hillside forest, gallery forest along the river, and swampy grassland where animals come to lick salts from the soil. Forest buffalo, bushbuck and putty-nosed monkeys wander past camp.
Why We Love It
We love trekking for gorillas and chimps, then kayaking and boating on the river. A hot drink before the trek, creative cocktails and truffles at turndown are lovely touches.
