About This Property
Lango Camp sits in equatorial rainforest at the heart of Odzala National Park in the Republic of Congo. Six chalets raised among huge hardwood trees look over a marshy bai, where forest buffalo wallow by day and elephants sometimes come in quietly.
It’s for real nature lovers: the forest animals here are rarely seen anywhere else. We explore mostly on foot, plus boat trips, kayaking, and day and night drives through galleried forest and sunny savannah.
Why We Love It
We love sitting on the deck after dark, listening to elephants blowing bubbles in the bai, and the river trips with a G&T in hand. Huge flocks of African grey parrots and green pigeons are a sight you won’t forget.
