About This Property
Magwegwe Camp is a mobile camping expedition in the Abu Private Reserve, 30,000 hectares in the little-explored western Okavango Delta. It’s set up along the Kweene River.
Surface water all year draws wildlife onto the floodplains, especially big elephant herds. We explore by vehicle, on foot and by mokoro, hopping between the Delta’s islands.
Why We Love It
We love arriving by helicopter, and being the only operator in the reserve. Dinners are cooked over open coals by a private chef, under a sky full of stars.
