About This Property
John’s Camp is six tents under huge trees on the Zambezi floodplains in Mana Pools, a national park and World Heritage Site in Zimbabwe. It’s named after a well-known local guide, and it keeps things simple in the best old-school way.
There’s water here year-round, so game stays put, and Mana is one of Zimbabwe’s great off-the-beaten-track parks. We go out on drives and walks with expert guides, and the summer Green Season is brilliant for birds. It pairs beautifully with Victoria Falls.
Why We Love It
We love the honest bush feel: a campfire with chairs for swapping stories, rusks and coffee at dawn, lunch under a tree and a night on the raised star-gazing platform with nothing but gauze between you and the sky.
