About This Property
We like Fig Tree for its location and its history. It is one of the best-established camps in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, on the banks of the Talek River inside the reserve.
Extensive renovations in 2024 brought a rebuilt restaurant and a new raised bridge for year-round access, while keeping the traditional tented feel.
Why We Love It
The riverside tents have private patios facing the water, and the Superior Ngamboli tents sit in a quieter wing with Mara views.
Balloon safaris take off from camp, and evenings bring Maasai performances and talks by the resident naturalist.
