About This Property
Le Soleil des Tsingy is a solar-powered lodge close to Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park in western Madagascar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its forests of razor-sharp limestone pinnacles and the Manambolo River.
Lemurs and endemic birds live among these strange stone forests, and we explore on guided walks and hikes. The lodge has a long commitment to Malagasy wildlife and culture, and its décor was done by a local designer.
Why We Love It
We love a cocktail by the heated infinity pool under white parasols, and the solarium on breezy days. Families do well here too, with a playground and a games room, and the food blends Malagasy and European dishes using vegetables from the lodge garden.
