About This Property
Mahali Mzuri — Swahili for ‘beautiful place' — is Sir Richard Branson's intimate safari camp in the Masai Mara's Olare Motorogi Conservancy. With just twelve luxury tents and a prime location on the migration route, it delivers the celebrity owner's signature blend of fun, style, and exceptional experience.
The tents are spacious and design-forward, with copper bathtubs, heated floors, and private decks overlooking a valley through which the migration passes. The main areas include an infinity pool that seems to merge with the Mara horizon, a fully equipped gym, and a spa with bush views.
The Olare Motorogi Conservancy is a private conservation area with strict vehicle limits, meaning game viewing is more exclusive than in the main reserve. Night drives and off-road driving — prohibited in the national reserve — are permitted here.
Why We Love It
Mahali Mzuri has the fun, adventurous spirit you'd expect from a Branson property. The infinity pool overlooking the migration route is iconic, the tents are stylish without being stuffy, and the guides have permission for off-road driving and night drives that you can't do in the main reserve. It's luxury with personality.
