About This Property
We like OuKlip as a proper bush escape close to the city. Its fourteen tent houses are in the 18,500-hectare Dinokeng Game Reserve, about 50 km from Pretoria off the N1.
Each tent house sleeps up to four and is fully kitted out with a kitchen, a bathroom, a queen bed and its own boma. Inside, much of the woodwork is old railway sleepers.
Why We Love It
It is one of the few places near Gauteng where you might spot the Big Five from your own tent.
The tents are well spread out, so you feel alone in the bush.
