About This Property
Nxamaseri Island Lodge is a small, exclusive lodge in the Okavango Panhandle, one of the oldest in the Delta. It’s famous as one of Africa’s best fly-fishing spots.
It isn’t big game country. Instead the water and the birds steal the show: kingfishers, herons, storks and fish eagles. We take boat cruises, mokoro trips and island walks, and we can fly by helicopter to the ancient rock art of the Tsodilo Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Why We Love It
We love evenings at the firepit on the big deck over the Nxamaseri River. Hearty African dishes are served buffet-style, or privately in our chalet.
