About This Property
Maxa is a small, tucked-away camp on Maxa Lagoon, in a private conservancy within the Kaza Transfrontier Conservation Area in the north-east of the Okavango Delta. Hippos wade in the lagoon right in front.
Buffalo and plains game graze the floodplains, and leopards slip through the riverine forest. We explore on foot and by vehicle with a trusted guide, and canoe and fish in season.
Why We Love It
We love sundowners on the treehouse lookout, warming up at the fire pit before dinner, and the smell of fresh bread and muffins every morning.
