About This Property
Kiba Point is an exclusive-use lodge on the banks of the Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). Four stone and thatch cottages stand on raised platforms under riverine forest, looking out over a river that’s more than a kilometre wide.
It’s ideal for a family or a group of friends who want this wild corner of Tanzania to themselves. We go out on game drives, walks, boat trips and fishing with an experienced ranger, and can add hot springs and fly camping for the adventurous.
Why We Love It
We love the total privacy: your own guide, vehicle and chef, a plunge pool at every cottage and a lodge where nobody else turns up. A packed breakfast on a dawn walk by the Rufiji is pure magic.
