About This Property
Karangoma is a solar-powered canvas camp on an 8,900-hectare private concession, where the Okavango’s waterways meet Botswana’s northern mopane woodland. It’s a drier, quieter part of the Delta, and that means fewer vehicles and more space.
Plains game and predators move across the seasonal grassy floodplains, and we follow them on day and night drives in open 4x4s, on foot and by mokoro. The camp supports local communities, too.
Why We Love It
We love the floor-to-ceiling views of the plains from your tent and the bush lunches out with your guide. Dinner on the wooden deck under the stars is just as good, and the family tent makes it easy with kids.
