About This Property
LABA Jongomero is a remote camp on the banks of the seasonal Sand River in Ruaha National Park, and it’s the only camp in its area. That means you can spend a whole game drive without seeing another vehicle.
We head out twice a day across plains, thick bush, riverbeds and acacia woodland, with special drives for birders and photographers and guided walks on foot. It’s a wonderful spot for couples who like a bit of adventure.
Why We Love It
We love the variety of meals in the bush: a picnic out on drive, campfire cooking, dinner under the stars. Then there’s the natural pool in the river, a safe, hippo-free spot to cool off while animals drink downstream.
