About This Property
Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge sits in the hills east of the Savuti Channel, looking over golden savannah and a busy waterhole in the Chobe National Park. Built from wood and thatch, it almost grows out of the hill, and it runs almost entirely on solar power.
Savuti is known for its elephants in the dry season and for the zebra migration in the green season, when thousands move through. Lion, leopard, cheetah, large hyena clans and wild dog are all here. You can watch the waterhole from the deck or from the photographic hide, and the ancient rock art in the hills adds another layer.
Why We Love It
We love the elevated view. From teak decks above the treetops, you can watch animals come to drink at the waterhole below.
Twice-daily drives with expert guides, plus full-day trips further afield, make it a good Savuti stop on a Chobe and Okavango Delta itinerary.
