About This Property
Elephant Watch Camp sits on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River in Kenya’s Samburu National Reserve, surrounded by free-roaming elephants. It was founded by conservation pioneers studying Samburu’s elephant families.
Tents are hand-crafted from local materials and open to nature. Guides lead drives, walks and visits to Samburu communities.
Staying here supports elephant research and protection.
Why We Love It
We love its purpose. You learn about individual elephants from people who know them, and the camp is one of the most original in Kenya.
The Afro-Italian dinners under the stars are a bonus.
