About This Property
Chiawa Camp is a thatched and tented camp on the Zambezi, shaded by mahogany and acacia trees in the heart of Lower Zambezi National Park. Its views run right across the valley.
We drive by day and night and walk for lion, leopard and buffalo, then take to the water. Canoeing and river cruises bring us close to elephant and hippo, and tiger fishing is catch and release.
Why We Love It
We love drifting along the quiet channels while our guide paddles, past elephants, water monitors and vervet monkeys. Couples can book a night on the Star Bed tower, or the Star Drift with a floating dinner.
