About This Property

Angama Amboseli opened in 2023 as the brand's second home, trading the Mara escarpment for the lush Kimana Sanctuary – Kenya's first community-owned conservancy and a vital wildlife corridor near Amboseli National Park.

Ten suites are designed around the landscape and its elephants, with screened doors that keep Mount Kilimanjaro framed from inside. The setting is greener and more intimate than the open Amboseli plains, with a remarkable density of game right outside.

Rates are fully inclusive with a single rate across the seasons, and the same warm Kenyan service and design sensibility that defines Angama Mara carries through here.

Why We Love It

It is all about the elephants and the mountain. Few places put you this close to large, relaxed herds with Kilimanjaro rising behind them, and the screened suites are built to keep that view with you all day.

The Kimana Sanctuary setting also means your stay supports a genuine community conservancy, with experiences like the Big Life Foundation visit and a weaving studio adding real local texture.
