About This Property
Mnemba Island is a speck just 1.5 kilometres round, off Zanzibar’s spice-scented coast: coral reefs, powdery sand, turquoise water and playful dolphins. Mnemba Island Lodge is barefoot luxury for every age.
There are only ten thatched bandas, and tiny suni antelope and Ader’s duiker graze right past them. We dive with the PADI school, snorkel, kayak, windsurf and sail a traditional dhow.
Why We Love It
We love waking to coconut bread and cooing doves, dhows delivering the day’s fish and fruit, and following the turtles as they nest and hatch in season.
