About This Property
Camp Kalahari sits among the acacias of Hyena Island, in a private concession on the edge of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. It brings back the old explorers’ style of safari, but with a relaxed, fun spirit.
When the summer rains arrive, zebra and wildebeest migrate through and flamingos turn up. Dry winters bring easy weather, good game and quad-bike rides across the endless salt pans.
Why We Love It
We love how family-friendly it is, with children of all ages welcome. Picnic breakfasts out on the pans and barbecue dinners at dusk are pure joy.
